Purse available for trip to Hull

Oops
Panic over. If we get a penalty at Hull then our regular spot kicker Darren Purse is back in the team. He's not missed one this season.

Michael Ricketts (right) made a right hash of the kick we were awarded against Ipswich, thankfuly we still won the game.

Whether Purse will resume his partnership with Glenn Loovens is yet to be seen. The dutchman played 90 mins on Monday but he's not fully fit.

'Glenn is carrying an injury that the medical people say can't get any worse and it's just going to be a case of rest,' Dave Jones told the Echo.

'It is not a pull or a tear, it is just a strain. It is something that he has had before and we have just got to guard him against it.

'He only trained on Sunday for 20 minutes and declared himself fit on Monday and we told him that once he crossed the white line he was 100 per cent fit and he got through the game.'

Darren Purse was replaced by Neil Cox who will return to the bench if Loovens plays.
