Purse given Wembley boost after red card ruled out

Purse was given a straight red that carried a three match ban that would have seen him miss the FA Cup Final. But now he's available for selection.

It's likely that Darren will be on the bench with Roger Johnson and Glenn Loovens the centre half pairing but Cardiff City are short on numbers and the squad is stronger with Purse in it.

The decision is sure to annoy Andy Cole. Good.
