QPR introduce new kit for final

Back in 1967 Rangers won the League Cup. A team that included Rodney Marsh played in an all white kit and 36 years on Rangers have opted for a special cup final "white" kit to commemorate their next cup final.

Speaking to to official QPR website Hoops director Samantha Taylor said

"The 1967 League Cup final was one of the greatest days in the club's history and we feel it would be thoroughly appropriate to pay homage to that team with a classic all-white strip for the Play-Off final.

"After discussions between Ian Holloway and David Davies introduced the idea, it was an easy decision to take and we are sure that this special strip will be a popular choice.

"It is a shame that the side will not be able to run out in the blue and white hoops, but given the historical significance of the white kit, there is now a great incentive to emulate our heroes of 36 seasons ago."

Cardiff will of course be in all Blue.
