Ramsey seals Bluebirds win over Foxes

Michael Chopra stroked home the opening goal midway through the first half after some quick movement from a Cardiff throw in and Ramsey majestically passed the ball into the Leicester net 7 mins into the second half after more lovely passing by the home side.

Leciester were trying their luck whenever they got sight of goal but ultimately they were shut out by an efficient City defence.

At half time Cardiff were ahead but the visitors had had most efforts on goal, I felt the next goal was crucial as either side would have then gained enough confidence to go on and win it. Thankfully Cardiff did their jobs and in the end came away with a comfortable win.

There was an injury concern when Olifinjana went off late on with a knee problem. He was replaced by Jon Parkin who helped see the clock down by doing exactly what he's good at. Being an outlet high up the pitch and City never looked like conceeding in the latter stages of the game.

An excellent win that was important as Q.P.R. and Swansea both won and there was a real bonus with Norwich, Leeds and Forest all drawing.
