City fans cheer at the final whistle
Cardiff City produced another excellent away performance to pick up three points at Swindon. Incredibly Lennie Lawrence has never lost an away game while he’s been at Cardiff City. Leo FW scored the important goal when his hooked shot was deflected in after 30mins.

Rhys Weston was the pick of the City players with a superb display at right back. Swindon pressed late on but City twice came close to getting a penalty, Earnie was brought down in the box but referee Barry Knight said it was a fair challenge and awarded City a throw then Leo FW was felled and much the annoyance of the City fans Leo was booked for diving.

There was a superb following from City and to a man the travelling supporters went away happy.

Earnie is flat out but no penalty given
City are now third behind Wigan and Brentford. City are next in action on Monday at Ninian Park against Luton who currently have no points from 4 games.
