Referee and officials for City v West Ham

Last updated : 24 October 2003 By Michael Morris
The game between Cardiff City and West Ham United will be controlled by Michael Ryan of Lancashire. His assistants will be Mike Hawken from Cornwall and David Hine from Worcestershire.

It will be the first ime Ryan has officiated Cardiff or West Ham this season. His last game in charge was this midweek at the Madejski when Walsall shocked Reading with a 1 - 0 win.

Ryan is quite card happy. 11 games so far this season has seen 28 yellows issued and 5 red. Three red cards in one game.

His first game of the season was the televised Notts Forest v Sunderland tie on Aug 9th. That produced a home 2 - 0 win. I'd settle for that tomorrow as well.
