On this very weekend last year Tony Harrington was the referee at Craven Cottage as Fulham suffered a home defeat and had a player sent off.
As for City games last season he officiated two defeats for the Bluebirds. The 2 - 1 away loss at Newcastle and the dramatic 3 - 4 home defeat by Barnsley
In total last season he issued 121 yellow cards and four red in 34 games.
His one other Cardiff game was the season before when City won 3- 2 at Bolton.
Tuesday 12th September, Preston away

Oliver Langford was in charge of both of Cardiff's games against Wigan last season. He, like he rest of us, will be hoping Tuesday night's game at Preston will have a little bit more about it than the two drab fixtures he witnessed last year as Wigan won 1 - 0 at CCS and it was 0 - 0 in the north west.
In total last season he issued 129 yellow cards and five red in 44 games.
