Reserve team draw sees Gabbidon and Whalley return

Gabbidon's back
Gabbidon suffering with a back problem and Whalley with medial ligament damage will both be relieved to be playing again. With 8 league games to go they could both be in first team action before the seasons end.

Most likely is another reserve team run out against Wycombe next Wednesday. This Saturday's game against QPR would be too much of a risk to bring these lads back. City play Wycombe on Tuesday in the league before the reserve team game on the Wednesday. The trip to Chesterfield could possibly see first team returns or maybe a place on the bench.

There was also a return for Andy Campbell, the striker has been out after surgery for a hernia and Rhys Weston who has missed the last

A strong squad that also included Andy Legg, Gavin Gordon, Mark Bonner, Des Hamilton and Jason Bowen had to settle for the draw but the return of Gabbidon, Whalley, Campbell and Weston was a result in itself.
