Reserve team round up

Last updated : 15 September 2005 By Michael Morris
The reserves started this season by ending last season.

On August 24th they played the final play off game against Luton Town which City won 4 - 1. Joe Ledley scored twice. Cardiff won the Wales and West section of the reserve league last season while Luton won the Central and East. The final play off was never completed last season hence it being played in August.

The only "proper" reserve game so far this campaign was a 2 - 0 home win over Yeovil. The game took place on Sep 7th. Tarik Khalil and Mark Jones with the goals.

Incredibly the oldest City player on the pitch was 21 year old Toni Koskela.

This week City should have played Swansea but the game was postponed.

The next scheduled reserve game is not until October 12th at home to Plymouth.
