Tuesday 24th February
from Whaddon Rd, kick off 2:00pm.

City are in reserve team action tomorrow (Tuesday) and not the usual Wednesday slot.

Cheltenham have had a torrid run of late. They started the season brightly enough with 1 defeat in the opening 6 games but then they played in Cardiff and lost 2 - 0, Danny Thomas and Michael Hayward with the goals. That started a nine match run without a win until last week when they pulled off a 5 - 1 hammering of Oxford Utd.

Michael Hayward, mentioned above, has now been releasd by Cardiff City. He and another youngster, keeper Danny Brimble, have left Ninian Park.

Brimble has moved to Barry Town and played for them on the weekend as they won their 1st game of the season. Barry were managed by former City player David Hughes but now Colin Addision has taken control and the club recorded a 5 - 4 win over Welshpool for their first success in the league this season.
