Reserves to entertain Reading behind closed doors

Cardiff City will entertain Reading on Wednesday in a friendly reserve team game. Cardiff City have anounced the game will be played behind closed doors with no internet commentary and they say no press or spectators will be admitted.

The game will offer a chance for John Robinson to get match practice after his return to full training. Robinson is hoping to be back in contention for a first team squad place in the coming week or two.

Gary Croft could also take part and usual reserve team players James Collins and Gavin Gordon are expected to play.

Reading may include former City loan player James Harper if he overcomes a stomach problem but there will be a starting place for our old friend Scott Murray. The former Bristol City player is set to play and so is Dave Kitson, the Cambridge striker that interested City last summer.
