Ridsdale appeals to FAW and FA over Clattenburg

The statement in full can be found on www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk but in it he says

"I call on the FA's of both England and Wales and the Football League to take immediate steps to correct this injustice and in the case of last Saturdays match not to impose a suspension where the referee having reviewed the tape of the incidents accepts that he made a mistake."

Simon Walton was sent off for a second yellow card earned for simulation (diving) but it's clear from watching on TV that Walton was caught by the Leeds Utd player and the booking was totally unjustified.

Should the yellow card stay then Cardiff will be without Walton for tomorrow's trip to West Brom and Friday's home game against Preston.

Michael Chopra misses the W.B.A. game after his red card against Leeds.
