It was reported a couple of weeks ago that David Temme would move from Chief Executive to take on the role of looking after the stadium progress.

An official announcement today confirms the senior management change around which sees Peter Ridsdale (right) take over the day to day responsibility of the club. His position as Executive Deputy Chairman takes in the old Chief Exec's role.

David Temme is now Project Director for the new stadium and will report to Peter Ridsdale.

Speaking to the official website www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk Ridsdale said

"I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity to work once more within football at a club that has unique potential.

"Cardiff City F.C. will move forward to build a new stadium. I will do all that I can to work with Sam and the rest of the management team to restructure our operations, rationalise and take control of our finances, and build the new stadium. This, I stress, is as Sam always has said - a lengthy rollercoaster ride."
