Ridsdale denies Chris Perry link

"Ninian Park chief Peter Ridsdale has offered the experienced defender (Chris Perry) a one-year deal as Perry has been released by West Bromwich Albion following a bust-up with manager Tony Mowbray", said the Wales on Sunday.

"Cardiff are desperate to land Perry, increasing speculation that captain and centre-back Darren Purse may be on his way. He has been a £1m target for Premiership side Wigan Athletic." the WoS continued.

In reply Peter Ridsdale has said

"Neither are true," Ridsdale added.

"Wigan Athletic have not been in touch about Darren Purse and we have not made any sort of approach for Perry."


Well I guess that sorts that one out.
