Ridsdale falls out with Echo

The Football League have now declared an interest and spokesman John Nagle told the Echo

"Our policy at this point is to take watching brief over situations like this.

"Regarding Cardiff City, we are currently monitoring matters in relation to recent events."

The original article found here was published on Media Wales followed by this written piece for the Echo.

As with all matters financial at this level with the club it's all smoke and mirrors and I don't think anyone will ever know just what sort of financial state we are in.

Getting hot and bothered with the local press though is not usually Ridsdale's style as he's as cool as they come with PR and media.

His outburst in this morning's paper follows a call to him by the journalist to get further information on the situation.

Ridsdale told him: "I'm not talking to you or any of the reporters at the Echo.

"What you have published is despicable and I will not be talking to anyone at the South Wales Echo again."

Maybe this issue will be raised by the fans who have their chance to grill the chairman on Monday at the open fans meeting in Cardiff.
