Rotherham deny £300,000 price tag for Monkhouse

Sky Sports news were reporting a couple of days ago that Rotherham would accept on offer of £300,000 for Andy Monkhouse but a Rotherham spokesman has responded by saying the Sky story is not true. The source told the Echo

"As far as we are concerned there is no truth in the story, and there is no change in the situation since Cardiff's original enquiry several weeks ago. I saw it on Sky Sports myself and I wondered where it came from becuase it hasn't come from us."

Ronnie Moore was quoted as saying at the time that Sam could not afford the Millers midfielder who was rated at around £700,000.
