City play their latest reserve team game tonight against Bristol Rovers.

City are expected to use the same squad that beat Oxford Utd 6 - 1 at leckwith last Wednesday.

That would mean a game again for James Collins, Gavin Gordon, Scott Young and Jason Bowen. The team will be made up of youngsters inc last weeks hat trick hero Michael Parkins and regular U19 players Hayward, Anthony, Fish, Fleetwood etc.

City currently lead the Pontins reserve league but tonights game is a CUP match. City have played 4 previous cup games this season and have not won any of them. City have lost at Swansea and at home to Plymouth and have earned draws away at Bristol City and at home to Cheltenham. As a result City are bottom of the 6 team group. Tonights game is the last group game.

The match tonight is being played at Mangotsfield FC and kicks off at 7:00pm. City have played here before this season. The Bluebirds winning 2 - 0 in a league game on bonfire night.

City's league reserve form is much better as the table below shows. From 9 games played 6 have been wins, 1 draw and just 2 defeats, those coming against Bristol City and Oxford earlier in the season. Lately City have won 4 of the last 5 league matches to lead the table at theis moment in time.
