Rumours. A striker to come in? Ledley to go out

There are claims that City could be close to signing a new striker. Most probably a loan deal within the next couple of days. No names mentioned but immediately Chopra springs to mind but then this morning Sky Sports mention Marcus Bent could be an option with Cardiff and Q.P.R. interested. After what Bent did to us last summer I don't think he'd get too warm a welcome if he came back to Wales. Other names like Ched Evans, Ricardo Fuller and Luis Boad Morte have been linked for weeks as well.
Until something happens then it is just rumour.
As for Joe going out the door the Echo are claiming that "sources" are saying that West Ham will come in for a £5m bid for Joe Ledley next week. The Hamers sold Craig Bellamy to Man City on Monday for a free of around £14m so could have a few bob to invest in the City skipper.
With the window not closing for another 10 days I think we are going to have a few more "in the know" people making claims that may have some grain of truth or could be a load of old tosh.
