Ryan Green signs a deal with Sheff Weds

Green, 22, has been a reserve team regular this season but with Rhys Weston playing so well and Gary Croft able to cover the right back role if Weston is unavailable his chances of breaking into the first team are very limited.

The boy needs to be playing football so Lennie has reluctantly let him go. His contract with City was only on a month by month basis so he leaves without any fee being involved. Sheff Weds have offered him the chance to play and a 3 month contract. He becomes new Owls boss Chris Turners first signing.
