Cardiff won their opening game in North America with thanks to Josh Murphy's second half penalty.

It was a solid work out for both teams on a difficult pitch in front of a decent crowd. Many of whom wore Cardif City shirts having travelled from the UK and from locations in America.

Speaking after the game Neil Warnock said:

"I was really impressed with the stadium. I thought it was a good atmosphere and it was nice to see it quite full.

"It was a good workout - no injuries and a lot of endeavour for what was our first full game. So it was just great preparation."
