Earnshaw can't believe he's not scored
Daniel Gabbidon started tonight and was superb in defence as Wales looked to extend their lead at the top of their Euro 2004 group.

A 73rd minute winner though by Serbia broke Welsh hearts.

Gabbidon was immense and nearly scored an equaliser for Wales when his header just cleared the bar, the best chance of the night fell to sub Robert Earnshaw but the City striker was denied by amazing defending from Mladen Krstajic. Earnie had rounded the keeper and did everything right as he placed the ball into the open goal but a desperate lunge by the Serb cleared the goal bound effort.

Rhys Weston was a non playing sub.
