A decision is expected tomorrow on the fate of the UEFA EURO 2004™ Group 9 qualifying match between Serbia and Montenegro and Wales, which is scheduled to take place in Belgrade on Wednesday 2 April.

Security doubts
UEFA has been holding talks since Monday with the authorities in Serbia and Montenegro, after security doubts were raised about staging the game in Belgrade, where a state of emergency is in force. European football's governing body asked for written details of the various concerns expressed, and the consultation process is ongoing.

No further information
UEFA said that no further information would be issued today, and that a decision was expected by lunchtime on Wednesday. The body added that the decision would be made in Rome, where senior UEFA officials are present for a two-day meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee, as well as the XVII Ordinary UEFA Congress on Thursday.
