Set back for Andy Legg

The former City player had glands removed from his neck in the operation two weeks ago and now faces more tests after he was warned the disease may have affected other parts of his body.

Legg told the Echo

"I've had some bad news, but I'll know more next month when the results of the scan I'll be having, have been. 'I've had overwhelming support from my family and Cardiff City fans, who are simply the best I have known.'

'I'll be meeting with a consultant this week after a scan to see what the next step is and to see if they have found that its moved elsewhere."

Let's hope the next set of scans have better news for the popular 38 year old. Legg is still treated as a City hero and we wish him all the best.
