Simpkins released from his contract

Michael Simpkins has been released by Cardiff City the official website has declared. The former Chesterfield defender has been on loan at Exeter and lately Cheltenham. Bobby Gould took over at Cheltenham last week and sent the payer back to Ninian Park where he finds himself surplus to requirements.
