60s. The player who turned out for both Bristol clubs during the 60s is Mike Ford’s dad, Tony.

70s. Ken Wimshurst and Peter Whittingham are the only players to score winning goals for City against Bristol City in league games during the regular season between 3 April 1971, when Wimshurst’s own goal gave us a 1-0 win at Ninian Park, and 22 March 2008 when Whitts got the decisive goal in a 2-1 victory at the same ground.
