Inter Milan winger Tidjane Balde, 18, has joined Cardiff City until the end of the season. Russell Slade explains that Balde will be part of the Development side.

"He's in with us, training at the moment. He's behind a little because he hasn’t been playing," said the boss.

"We may extend his stay to look at him further with no commitment. He is coming to end of his week-long trial and we may look at extending that, but there is nothing agreed yet."

"He will be mainly with Nilton Terroso (under-21 development team coach).

"We saw the player two days ago training a little bit, he's young, not very physical,  but technical. We get an opportunity to have a look at him."

Another player who may get a chance is Racing Genk midfielder Khaleem Hyland who is on trial. Slade may extend Hyland's time in South Wales before making a decision on him.

"He's in with us, training at the moment. He's behind a little because he hasn’t been playing," the boss continued.

"We may extend his stay to look at him further with no commitment. He is coming to end of his week-long trial and we may look at extending that, but there is nothing agreed yet."
