Snippets on Bellamy and Miller

And Cardiff could be about to snatch Miller from under the noses of Rangers.

If the Gers want to have Miller in their squad for their opening European games he needs to sign for them by 11pm on Thursday but the suggestion seems to be that Cardiff is a better option. Miller's family have already returned to the UK after not settling in Turkey.

While the Miller talk is in the theatre of the newspapers the talk of Bellamy is purely from Twitter.

Bellamy's sister in law on Tuesday evening 'tweeted'

: So Craig is set to stay at Man City!

The tweet was soon removed but replies to questions are still there, one tweeter who asked why was told 'Man City won't release him!' and that was followed with a response to a tweeter who told her he had told CCMB about the news she wrote 'I'm probably gonna get into trouble 2!!! Oops'

I hope she's wrong.

New signing Don Cowie would love to see Bellamy back.

“Speaking to some of the boys who were here last season, I believe Craig Bellamy was a big influence around the place,” said Cowie.

“He’s obviously got a good pedigree and he definitely wasn’t an ego or anything like that. He was really helpful to the boys and put a really good shift in not only on match day but Monday to Friday too on the training field.

“Players like that can only really help a team like Cardiff City.”
