"The deal is done and dusted and we think Solomon is a good addition to our squad," said Jones ater last night's Cup win over Bristol Rovers.
"No offence to Dagenham, but it is going to be a massive jump up for him now, but we think he's got what it takes. We believe playing with the players he will be with here could well draw the best out of him.
"He's very athletic and good on the ball with an eye for a good pass. We have been monitoring him for a long and it is good to have him on board."
Taiwo goes into the City squad for the trip to Doncaster on Saturday.
