All the players above are in contract and are the 20 first team players in Lennie's plans. It's been reported that Lennie would like 24 senior players so that gives a clue as to how many new players could be coming in.

In addition to the above we have a selection of youth players of who either first or second year professionals. Lennie is known to want 6 or so of these youngsters playing for the youth team but looking to bring them on in the reserves.

Six players have been signed up from the youth team as first year professionals they are Byron Anthony, Danny Thomas, Michael Parkins, Nicky Fish and Kirk Huggins. Parkins came on as a sub against Newport in the FAW Premier Cup and the others have all been on the bench for the reserves. Stuart Fleetwood is another youngster who is already establishing himself as one of the next generation of home grown talent. He has impressed and has seen first team FAW Cup action, scoring against TNS.

The remainder of the players are:-

Layton Maxwell and Des Hamilton. Both in contract but both told to find new clubs. They are not obliged to leave and will be fairly treated says Lennie but it's in the interest of both players and club if they move on.

Lee Fowler has already returned to Coventry while the following are all out of contract and free agents

Ainsworth, Leo FW, Jenkins, Fan Zhiyi, Jordon, Walton, Heall, Wallis, Jones and Giles.

So from the 33 senior players we did have Lennie hopes to have cut it to 20.
