Stadium boost as Costco signs up

CARDIFF City today received a major boost after American giant Costco SIGNED UP as the main retail tenants for their proposed new stadium.

The move brings the Bluebirds 30,000-seater new home a huge step closer to becoming reality at a time of great uncertainty on and off the pitch for the club.

Now developers Capital and Regional will attempt to secure two other major retail commitments to complete the site and bring to an end a drawn-out process that has threatened the whole project from day one.

And the Echo understands another flagship company is on the brink of signing up alongside Costco.
