Striker crisis. McCormack and Bothroyd crocked

Bothroyd lasted just 13 mins of City's 2 - 1 defeat against Wolves on Saturday while McCormack went off in the 55th minute.

"Well the injuries are both hamstrings, so it looks like they'll be out for a while," Dave Jones said.

"I'll have to see what can be done, because all that was there today is what's on the bench and that's it," Jones added.

"I'll ask the chairman if we can get someone in, because we need someone now because of what's happened.

"It's whether clubs at this stage of the season are going to be prepared to let them out, but it won't be for the want of trying.

"You know now it's five players out, and big players for us which is hard to swallow."

City ended the game with Paul Parry and Eddie Johnson as the only two strikers available.
