Supporters club raise £500 from quiz night.

Roger (the landlord from the Lansdowne) and myself came 4th out of 11 - most with teams of 5 to 7. We were chuffed, especially as I think Roger only got 1 answer all night!!

Winner, by a mile, was club historian and internet commentator Richard Sheppard who didn't seem to have reference books hidden around him this year.

Biggest winner of the night though was a cancer charity nominated by the widow of CCFC commentator extraordinaire Phil Suarez who benefitted to the tune of £500. Almost £250 raised on the night was was matched £ for £ by
CCSC.

TAKE A BOW EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED THE EVENT, especially the mob from Cwmbran who were the biggest singers, the biggest drinkers and first to fall asleep as well. Good work lads!!
