C:WindowsTempphpB521.tmpJust four days before a massive South Wales derby Swansea City have sacked their manager.

Following on from last Saturday's surrender against 10 man West Ham the Swansea board have sacked Michael Laudrup and defender Garry Monk has taken the role of head coach assisted by Alan Curtis.

The Swans are 3 points above Cardiff in the Premier league table and just two points above the relegation zone.

The removal of Laudrup will add a little bit more spice to what promises to be a feisty affair at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday evening.
