On Thursday eveing the BBC reported that Malky Mackay had been asked to resign from his post or he would be sacked. The information was relayed to Mackay by email earlier this week.

Tan criticised 41-year-old Mackay at length in a range of areas, such as signings, transfer budgets, results on the pitch and style of play.

The news caused an explosion of social networking activity and has alerted the national media to the circus being orchestrated by Tan.

The Cardiff owner's email demanding Malky Mackay resign or be sacked beggars belief....actually given his previous actions, no it doesn't.

and BBC reported Jacqui Oatley published this video showing how there was tension as early as August after Cardiff beat Man City.

Cardfiff face Liverpool away on Saturday. If Malky makes it to the touchline at Anfield it's likely to be his final game in charge.

The Friday morning press conference ahead of the game will be interesting.
