The highlights show will be broadcast on BBC 1 late on Saturday evening. Tomorrow it's at 11.10pm and from next week it will follow the regular Match Of The Day show. So Saturday nights from 10pm ish will be football all the way.

This season you can watch live Championship and Carling Cup action on the BBC, plus highlights of every Football League game.

Ten Championship games will be shown exclusively live, plus the Carling Cup final and two semi-final legs. There will also be a weekly highlights show on BBC One - which will be repeated on the red button and will be available on the BBC iPlayer.

On-demand highlights from every single game in the Football League, Carling Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy will be available on the BBC Sport website for UK users.

The Football League Show, presented by Manish Bhasin with expert opinion from Steve Claridge, will follow Match of the Day every Saturday.

A Carling Cup highlights programme will show goals from every round of the cup.

The BBC will share the Football League rights with Sky until the end of the 2011/12 season.
