The Championship this weekend

Cardiff's nearest challengers are Birningham City. They are the only team that could mathmatically overtake us this Saturday. To do that we'd need to see a City defeat with a Blues win and a seven goal swing. That's unlikely to happen so City are set to be leaders until at least October 14th when we go to Palace.

Of course a City win would see the gap stay at least at 3 points.

Southampton, Preston, Palace and Wolves are all 4 points behind City are will be hoping to close in on the leaders.

Colchester are facing Ipswich on Friday evening. The Saturday fixtures are as follows

Cardiff CityvWolves15.00
Hull CityvC.Palace15.00
Stoke CityvPreston NE15.00
