The Championship week, but not for City

Last updated : 27 January 2018 By Michael Morris

Cardiff City and Bolton miss out this weekend's Championship fixtures after a TV clash anomoly.

A full set of fixtures was scheduled for today but with a number of Championship sides in FA Cup Rd 4 action their fixtures were moved to the upcoming midweek.

Because Cardiff are playing on Sunday v Man City they are not able to play a midweek game on Tuesday, and because Bolton have a live TV game next Friday they can't play on Wednesday, so the Cardiff v Bolton game has been moved to February 13th.

It also means that today Bristol City took advantage (2-0 home v QPR) to go level with City on points having played a game more and they will play again (ironically v Bolton next Friday) before Cardiff play their next game away at Leeds on Saturday.

Wolves won at Ipswich today to extend their lead at the top.

The fixtures in Matchday 29 are below and the current table:
