Well it seems like we are not looking for big money signings but we are looking to bring in players on loan. I'm happy with that, players sometimes are at their best when trying to earn a contract rather than picking up big wages.
It appears we have been thwarted this week in a bid to bring in Andy Monkhouse from Rotherham. That move may still happen but in a a week or two's time.
We have been linked with Scott Chipperfield of FC Basle. That talk has gone quiet at the moment but the Aussie international has said he'd be interested in a City move.
In the papers on New Years Day we have been linked with Steve Guppy of Celtic.
With Julian Gray back in favour at Crystal Palce it seems extremely unlikely that we could bring him back to Cardiff.
Other names linked in the press are Michael Hughes of Crystal Palace, Stewart Downing of Middlesbrough and Mark Kennedy of Wolves.
With no official word we'll have to wait and see.
