In the last week of June amid a flurry of speculation we signed Spencer Prior. The following day we signed Graham Kavanagh and confirmed the signing of Layton Maxwell and followed that up with a £2m bid for Brighton's Bobby Zamora.
No promises for such activity this time around but for those thinking Cardiff City had become the forgotten man of football just have a little more patience.
