Thompson scores equaliser for Burnley!!

Robbie Blake had given Burnley a 14th minute lead but Jay Bothroyd's 4th goal of the season 12 minutes later levelled the match. That was Burnley's first goal conceded at home since the middle of October.

The second half started with a bang, Wayne Routledge with his second goal for City made it 2 - 1.

But the scene was set for Thommo to come off the bench and score after a Blake shot was parried Thommo put the rebound into the net.

A draw at Burnley is an excellent result and 4 points from the last two games is a good return. There's frustration that we didn't hold on to win and incredulation that Thompson managed to find the net.

It's a result we would have taken before kick off. City remain in 6th place.
