Tickets selling well for opener v Stoke

The club are hopeful all 18,000 of the home allocation will be sold. Suggestions from Stoke say have sold around 1,000 tickets.

"Tickets are selling very well and I can see a sell-out when it comes to the home supporters," said Peter Ridsdale.

"I would advise people who want to come along to get their tickets as soon as possible in case they miss out.

"I think this shows the optimism in the air now ahead of the new season and once again how good the supporters of Cardiff City are.

"Year by year it seems our attendances are going up as the club moves forwards.

"We had around a 15,000 average last season, up on the season before, and I'd like to think we will improve on that again over the forthcoming season."
