Time to end poor run against Ipswich

The sequence includes the last ever game at Ninian Park, the first ever game between the sides at the CCS and the last two matches at Portman Rd.

Cardiff will start the game at the CCS tomorrow (Live on Sky, ko 5:20pm) as favourites by virtue of League position and the fact they are at home. City are also the form team between the two sides. Ipswich have not won in the last three matches but prior to that did win three of the previous four.

They include former Swansea player jason Scotland, who scored one of the goals in the last meeting at Portman Rd and Championship Player of the Month Connor Wickham.

Former City player Mark Kennedy could also feature.

Cardiff have two new keepers to choose from and will have to make a change in midfield. Jason Brown and Stephen Bywater are both challenging for a start after both arrived in Cardiff in the last 24 hours. The midfield gap is left by Aaron Ramsey who has gone back to Arsenal.

Steve McPhail will start again in the absence of the injured Seyi Olofinjana.

Cardiff, possible: Brown, Quinn, Hudson, Keinan, McNaughton, Emmanuel-Thomas, McPhail, Whittingham, Bellamy, Bothroyd, Chopra.

Subs: Bywater, Rae, Naylor, Gyepes, Blake, Burke, Parkin
