Three of City's first team squad who did not go to North America were involved the U23's 1 - 1 draw at Larkhall Athletic on Friday night.
Alex Smithies played the opening 45 mins while Lee Tomlin and Gary Madine played for an hour.
Tomlin opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 54th minute before Larkhall levelled two mins later.
