Tranmere or Hereford? We find out this week

Hereford and Tranmere play their FA Cup 3rd round replay on Wednesday evening with winners at home to Cardiff City in round 4.

The 4th round game will be played on the weekend on Jan 26th / 27th. Hopefully by the end of the week we shall find out exact fixture details (kick off time and date etc).

Paul Parry would love it to be Hereford Utd. He spent 7 years with them before making to jump to league football from the then Conference side. Hereford are now flying high in League 2.

"There's no reason why they can't beat Tranmere and I'll be rooting for them because I have some great memories of my time there," said Parry.

"I spent seven years there, albeit in the Conference, but it was a good time for me.

"Hopefully I can get the chance to go back and they've got a good chance of winning the replay on their own patch.

"Hereford always seem to have done well in the cup; it goes back to Ronnie Radford. And I was part of the side that drew with Leicester when we got to the third round.

"They have a good cup tradition but if we get them hopefully we won't be another name to add to their list."

Should it be Tranmere then City would be facing former striker Ronnie Moore who is the current boss at Prenton Park.
