Travel restrictions for Hull City away

The official website (www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk) has issued a statement regarding travel arrnagement for the trip to Hull on December 16th.

The match is not a bubble trip but supporters will only be issued with travel vouchers that can be exchanged for match tickets at an arranged location on the outskirts of Hull.

Independent supporters can make their own way to Hull but must collect match tickets at the rendevouz point before making their way to the KC Stadium. There's no mention in the statement about those arriving by train.

The statement starts off

Cardiff City & Hull City, Humberside & South Wales Police have agreed a range of control measures and travel restrictions to ensure the safety of all supporters travelling to the KC Stadium for the Hull City v Cardiff City fixture on Saturday 16th December 2006.

Visiting Supporters attending this fixture will have to purchase a travel voucher from Cardiff City ticket office. These vouchers will then be required to be exchange for a valid match ticket before entry to the stadium.

All travelling supporters that are in possession of vouchers are required to stop at The Humber Bridge Country Park (Humber bridge viewing Area) on the A63 / A 15 slip road. Where they will exchange their travel voucher for a valid match ticket that will then enable them to gain entry to the KC Stadium.

Please note that while independent travel to this fixture is allowed -

Entry to the Stadium will not be possible without a valid match ticket.

Cardiff City ticket office staff (who will control the exchange of vouchers for tickets) will man the Ticket exchange from 1.00pm.

Independent travellers can then make their final journey to the ground.
