Trips to Preston, Palace, Southend and Colchester

Preston and Crystal Palace have both been beaten in the play off semi finals. Therefore City will face both sides next season. Also on the schedule are trips to Essex to face Colchester and Southend Utd. Both clubs automatically promoted from League 1.
To complete the Championship line up next season we will have the losers of the Leeds v Watford play off final and the winner of the league 1 play offs which could be Swansea, Barnsley, Brentford or Huddersfield.
Birmingham, West Brom and Sunderland are also involved after being relegated from the Premiership.
