Trust quiz night raises over £500

They were ran all the way by Morris and The Minors (yes my team) who finished 2nd just a couple of points behind. If I'd have known the year and city Steve Redgrave won his first Olympic gold and the names of the MP and Assembly members for Merthyr (what an earth sort of question is that for a Cardiff boy) we might have caught them.

Of course the evening was great fun but the aim was to raise money for the Keenor Statue appeal and the monies raised on the night with added donations topped £500.00. An excellent effort and well done to everyone.

Special mention to Snowy, Landlord of the Rose and Crown in Pontypridd for his hospitality with a buffet thrown in for the quizzers.

There was one moment of contention.

The answer to one question was 'Iggle Piggle' The answer written down by one of the teams was 'Higgledy Piggledy' It was given as incorrect. Would you have given a mark?
