Two cup finals coming up for Youth team

Cardiff City youth last night progressed into the final of the Welsh Youth Cup. They beat Port Talbot 4 - 0 with goals from Danny Thomas (2), Cameron Jerome and Ryan Morgan.

The reward is a final against Swansea City. Date and time to be advised.

Next Tuesday, May 11th, Cardiff City are playing in the Youth League Cup final against Tranmere Rovers. This is a national competition and City have beaten Plymouth, Northampton, Cambridge, Swansea and then West Brom in the semi finals to make it to the last game.

Congratulations to the lads and good luck in both matches.

The team won their South West Conference Division this season with 32 points from 15 games. That qualified them into the Merit League along with the 8 other teams who finished in the respective top three's of their regional divisions.

City have completed their Merit Division fixtures with 3 wins from 8 games played. Cambridge Utd took the Merit Division title.
