C:WindowsTempphpBCC9.tmpCardiff City fan Nick Young decided to ask supporters who had opted not to go to the FA Cup match with Colchester to donate the money they would have spent on a ticket to charity.

Nick set up a Just Giving page asking fans to donate the £10 ticket money to Ty Hafan and at the time of writing nearly £700.00 has been raised.

Some fans had consciously decided to stay away from the game in protest to the rebrand and unhappy with the quality of ther football.

41 people have so far donated money to the cause including one generous donation of £200.00.

Due to recent events at Cardiff City Football Club, many supporters are choosing not to attend the Colchester Utd FA Cup tie, whether it be a stance against the way the club is being run (rebrand, etc), or just general personal choice. This is an opportunity to put the £10 you would have spent to a more worthy cause.
