Nothing appears to have come from the speculation on the player who cannot get into the City first team because of the form of Collins and Gabbidon.
Vidmar is out on contract at the end of the season.
On the subject Lennie Lawrence said on Sunday
"As far as I'm concerned, Tony Vidmar is a Cardiff City player and is not going anywhere, but that doesn't mean somebody is not plotting for him to move.
"I know he's been disappointed not to play more regularly of late, but I can't drop James and Danny as they're playing so well. I want Tony to stay, of course I do, and would like him to stay for next season too."
